  Financial Business Systems Support (FBSS)

Ascent was awarded the prime Financial Business Systems Support (FBSS) contract supporting the Federal Aviation Administration Office of Finance’s hardware and software systems. It is a small business set aside contract with a three year base and four one-year options periods. This contract is broad in scope and offers a range of technical support services.  This vehicle is able to be used throughout all of the Department of Transportation’s Operating Administrations.

   Capital Investment Analysis Support (CIAS)

Ascent is a prime contractor on CIAS, a multi-award contract issued and awarded by the U.S. Department of Transportation, in support of the FAA. It is a 100% small business set-aside contract. Services performed include information technology for financial systems, cost accounting,  financial systems reporting support, budget planning, financial capitalization support, Delphi financial management system support, reimbursable agreements support, financial analysis support, program and technical management support, administrative support, and business process re-engineering support.

   Financial Integrated Support (FIS)

Ascent Consulting supported the Financial Integrated Support (FIS) Services contract awarded by the Federal Aviation Administration. The contract had a broad scope, offering a multitude of financial services, including: financial management, accounting, operational maintenance, financial reporting, budgeting, and other related business needs for FAA and other stakeholder organizations.

   General Services Administration Schedule

Ascent Consulting Company was awarded a GSA Schedule 70 contract. GSA’s acquisition solutions offer private sector professional services, equipment, supplies, and IT to government organizations. Schedule 70 delivers federal, state, and local customer agencies the tools and expertise needed to shorten procurement cycles, ensure compliance, and obtain the best value for innovative technology products, services, and solutions. 

   Enterprise Financial Services Support (EFS)

Ascent Consulting Company was a major partner on The Federal Aviation Administration’s Enterprise Financial Services Support (EFS) IDIQ contract with a three-year base period and four one-year option periods. This contract replaced the functional tasks of the FAA’s Financial Integrated Support (FIS) contract. This contract is broad in scope and offers a range of financial, budget, and management support services. This contract vehicle is able to be used throughout all of the Department of Transportation’s Operating Administrations.

   Electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFast)

With a contract ceiling of $7.4 Billion, eFAST is the FAA’s preferred small business contract vehicle. eFAST is a multi-year FAA Master Ordering Agreement  program offering a broad technical scope, many contract and award types, and a wide array of labor categories with fixed ceiling rates. eFAST is the FAA’s preferred acquisition vehicle for fulfilling Agency Small Business goals.

   Systems Engineering 2025 (SE2025, SIR 2)

The objective of the SE2025 Small Business contract is to provide a broad range of systems engineering, technical, financial, programmatic, and other aviation related support services.  The contract will enable the Federal Aviation Administration  to accomplish its strategic mission objectives for the National Airspace System, Non-NAS, and other aviation areas.  The 10-year IDIQ contract has a cumulative ceiling value of $767 million and will deliver the technical support services necessary to assist the FAA in executing its integrated evolutionary plan to move beyond ground-based radar and voice technology into the second century of aviation using modern technology, updated procedures, satellite-based operations, flexible digital communications, updated automation, and improved weather and traffic management capabilities. The general areas of work include Systems Engineering Acquisition, Business Analysis, Computer Science, Financial Analysis, Operations Research Analysis and Software Engineering. Ascent was one of the carefully selected teaming partners of LS Technologies, which provided the FAA with access to experienced personnel with FAA and National Airspace System knowledge.
